Uimakoulu 3

Uimakoulussa kehitetään uintivarmuutta ja –taitoja, sekä valmiuksia uida syvässä altaassa. Kurssilla harjoitellaan myös erilaisia sukelluksia sekä hyppyjä. Kurssilla harjoitellaan myös rintauinnin ja krooliuintien alkeita sekä keräkaatoa.

Lähtötasovaatimukset: Osallistuakseen kurssille lapsen tulee jaksaa uida 15 m vatsallaan (myyräuintia oikealla hengitystekniikalla) ja selällään (alkeisselkäuintia). Lapsi osaa sukeltaa opetusaltaan pohjaan (80-90 cm) ja hypätä jalat edellä syvään altaaseen. Kurssi on tarkoitettu yli 5-vuotiaille lapsille. Kurssin osallistujan tulee osata noudattaa uimahallin sääntöjä ja uimaopettajan ohjeistuksia sekä kyetä toimimaan ryhmässä.

Tavoitteet: Saavuttaa vähintään 25 m yhtäjaksoinen uimataito syvässä altaassa (25 m myyräuintia ja 25 m alkeisselkäuintia hyvässä uintiasennossa. Lisäksi tavoitteena on oppia tekemään tikkuhyppy, syvyyssukellus 1,20 metriin, pituussukellus 5 metriä sekä uimaan matouintia/ tekemään delfiinipotkuja.

Opetus tapahtuu osin opetusaltaassa ja osin syvässä altaassa. Suositus seuraavasta kurssitasosta kirjataan kurssin lopussa jaettavaan todistukseen.

Kurssin hintaan sisältyy opetus, kurssilaisen sisäänpääsymaksu uimahalliin sekä tapaturmavakuutus. Avainrannekkeen pukukaappiin saa uimahallin kassalta 15 minuuttia ennen kurssin alkamista. Kokoontuminen tapahtuu kurssin alkaessa uima-altaalla. Vanhempi vastaa lapsestaan kurssin ulkopuolisena aikana. Uimakoulu järjestetään yhteistyössä Espoon kaupungin kanssa.

Kurssin peruminen: Kurssia on mahdollista kokeilla kahden peräkkäisen kurssikerran ajan, jonka jälkeen jäsenellä on mahdollista perua ja saada osa kurssimaksusta palautettua. Swim Class 3

In Swim Class 3 we will develop swimming skills and gain confidence in swimming in the deep pool. The children will practice different dives and jumps, basic breaststroke and front and back crawl skills and the tuck and roll entry into water.

Starting level requirements: To participate, the child is able to swim elementary stroke for 15 meters (both front and back using correct breathing technique), dive to the bottom of the children's pool (depth 80-90 cm) and jump feet first into deep water. The class is for children aged 5 and over. The participant must follow the swimming pool rules and follow the teachers instructions and be able to work in a group.

Course objective: The goal is for the child to be able to swim at least 25 meters without stopping in the deep pool (elementary stroke, 25 m front and 25 m back in good swimming position. Additional goals include the pencil jump, diving to a depth of 1.2 meters, a 5-meter underwater swim and the head-lead body dolphin.

The swimming school is arranged partly in the teaching pool and partly in the deep pool. The recommendation for the next course level will be written in the certificate that is given in the end of the course.

The course price includes the teaching, the child’s entrance fee to the swimming hall and an insurance. The key bracelet is given to the course participants 15 minutes before the course starts. You will meet the teacher by the pool at the time the course begins. The parent is always responsible for her/his child outside the course time. The course is arranged in cooperation with City of Espoo.

Course Cancellation: You can try the course for two consecutive sessions. After that, you can cancel and receive a partial refund of the course fee. The cancellation must always be made in writing to kurssit@cetus.fi. Course cancellations cannot be done through myClub.
